Did you know that many cab drivers drove people to work for free during the Montgomery Bus Boycott?

Those drivers changed history!
Because of their efforts, more people could join the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
And because of all of that boycotting, one of the most critical moments in U.S history was possible: racial integration.

These are the people whose work rarely makes history books; their names often missed in our acknowledgements and glossed over in our memory.
​
But these are also the people who ensure that change is possible.

WE The Sojourners celebrates the sacrifices of those many unsung heroes. Those heroes dedicated themselves to social justice, human rights, and addressing inequity.
WE add to that list all of our fellow "Sojourners" whose dedication to "being the change" makes our work possible.
